Only Watch is a famous watch charity auction which will be held every two years with Monaco Yacht Show. In this year, it firstly opened in Shanghai. Chanel joined the charity auction for the first time this year, and has specially designed a unique J12 diamond watch for the auction.

This watch is made from 18K gold and white high-tech precision ceramics with an automatic-winding movement that has passed the test of Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

Only Watch began in 2005 by Luc Pettavino, President of Muscle Atrophy Charity Association.  With the strong support of Monaco royal family, every two years, nearly forty famous Swiss watch-making manufacturers would provide one unique top watch for the auction. All money raised will be handed over to Monegasque Association, the Royal Muscle Atrophy Charity Association, as a sponsorship fund muscular dystrophy. Prior to the formal auction, the organizers will hold a world tour in order to attract more people to take note of this particularly meaningful auction.

In 2009, Chanel attended this auction with many famous watch-making manufacturers. Only Watch has begun in Shanghai in July, which completed in Monaco Yacht Show on September 24.
