These two series reflect two traditional techniques of enamel painting: high-temperature baking and enamel mosaic.

Each micro painting is results of long-term works. At the beginning, layers of transparent white enamel are painted as a bright background; then pigments containing different oxidized metals are applied on the background to make various colors. Patterns are painted in colorful lacquer enamel with quills; and then a number of enamel roasting will be conducted, until they get the desired color effect. The final key of a masterpiece depends on whether the final contours is fine and clear enough.
