Aeternitas has used platinum micro-rotor Tourbillon movement. As the operating of Tourbillon costs more energy than common watches, the self-winding watch mechanism not only ensures an endless supply of the power, and the platinum micro-pendulum is heavier than general micro-pendulum, the moment of force provided by the self-winding watch mechanism is larger than that provided by general micro-pendulum to achieve a more prominent effect, and ensure the necessary energy for the watch to run up to 8 days with double-winding box. The movement is equipped with a double barrel which guarantees a power reserve of about 8 days. It has a grand tourbillon (14mm) with a balance-wheel with adjustment screws in platinum and no index.
For the design, you can see the micro-pendulum of the movement is placed in the 6 clock position through the see-through caseback, echoing with the tourbillion on the 6 clock position.
