Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) has just ended in Switzerland shortly brfore, the yearlong surprises about watches and time bloom at the same time. This month, we got some virtual watch design for you, they are surprises behind the conventional SIHH. They come from Virtualideas, a company focuses on watch design in Switzerland, the following three designs break the conventional display of time, providing an interesting, lively and poetic way to read time.
Time injector

This watch named Toxic is made from two small pipes, the upper one tells hour while the lower one tells minutes. There is a set of cylinders inside each pipe, which shrinks as time goes by, and when the cylinders shrink to the limit, they begin to turn to their original shape, from zero. This design of Virtualideas brings forth a new and simple experience of time.
Sliding time

The hands on your watch dial go in circles to tell you time is passing bit by bit. This Pink Panther concept watch tries to show a new way of time passing: from circles to east-west movement. This watch is made from rose gold inset with rectangular diamonds. There are two round diamonds moving between two lines telling the time: the upper line for hours and the lower line for minutes.

The Concept 1 Watch with an almost square shape (50mmX45mm) is manly, its time display is divided into two sections: the left side tells hours and the right side minutes. A watch brand named Carlo Ferrara from Italy has similar watch design before. And now this watch also creates musical rhythms for time.
